About Us

Global Friends Foundation was founded in 2007 by Maggie Jensen, an educator with 20 years of experience teaching in public and private schools in the U.S. and abroad, as well as teaching multicultural education at the graduate level. She has conducted extensive post-graduate research in Cultural Literacy and Global Studies. Her travels have taken her to 29 countries.

The Foundation’s Board of Advisors is comprised of educators and business leaders in the US, Europe and Asia who share the Foundation's vision that the pathway to peace is through global awareness, communication and friendship, first among children and among adults.
